The 6-hour tour will commence with coffee and muffins at St. Matthew’s Church in Buckhorn being served between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. The Buses will leave at 10:00 a.m. sharp, travelling north on hwy 23/507 to Gooderham, west to Kinmount, south to Bobcaygeon and returning to Buckhorn. A two-hour stop in Kinmount is planned during which a light lunch will be served.  The cost of the tour is $15.00, all-inclusive.  Three buses have been reserved, including one with wheel chair accessibility.

Combined with the gorgeous fall colors of the area that we normally see at this time of the year, there will be a commentary and printed guide of the historical events and landmarks en-route.  Our confirmed tour guides as of to day are Art Parker and Guy Scott. Points of interest will include Buckhorn, Scott Mill, Rockcroft, Cavendish, Gooderham, Irondale, Furnace Falls, Kinmount, Local Cemeteries, Cavendish Community Centre, Local Schools and Postoffices. A brief stop at the Boyd Museum in Bobcaygeon is planned plus Art Parker’s commentary on North Harvey including Nogies Creek is something no one will want to miss.

10:00    Buses Depart St. Matthew’s Church, Buckhorn

10:20    Cavendish Hall (20 minute stop)

10:40    Depart Cavendish Hall

11:10    Arrive in Gooderham

11:30    Irondale – St. John’s the Baptist Church (20 min. stop)

11:50    Depart Irondale

12:30    Lunch – Galway Hall (45 minute stop)

 1:15    Depart Galway Hall

 1:30    Kinmount – 25 minutes at each site
   Highlands Cinema and Museum
   Kinmount Station and Mill
   Artisan’s Market     

 2:45    Depart Kinmount

 3:15    Bobcaygeon - Boyd Museum/Library/Council Chambers (30 minute stop)

 3:45    Depart Bobcaygeon

 4:00    Arrive back in Buckhorn
